Right now the taxpayer picks up 3 of every 4 dollars in a legislator’s health care premiums. If self employed Americans have to pay 100% of their own premiums with AFTER TAX dollars….so should our legislators. Republican legislator, in particular,who reject any kind of publicly funded health care plan are the ultimate hypocrites. Taxpayers like myself are fed up with legislators who feed at the public trough and then oppose any efforts to give the rest of us the same deal. When Republican senator Chuck Grassley was asked why the rest of us couldn’t have a health care plan like the Senator's, Grassley indigently replied “Go Get a job with the federal government”.
