Pictures from American Associations Day Hill Visits

On March 24, association executives visited their Congressional delegations on Capitol Hill to explain how associations provide insurance coverage to their employees, as well as how all associations are social and economic drivers.  During the American Associations Day lunch in Rayburn, ASAE and the Michigan Society of Association Executives jointly presented a Sentinel Award to the Honorable Vernon Ehlers (MI-3) for his longtime work with the Michigan association community.

The Michigan Society of Association Executives and the Michigan attendees are annually one of the hardest working state delegations; their schedule includes face time with someone from every Michigan Congressional office.  Their 2010 schedule, seen here, is a great example of how a state group can most efficiently reach out to their Congressional delegation.  The schedule was compiled by MSAE President Cheryl Ronk, CAE and Frances Singer.

Please share any feedback or photos from your Hill visits as well:
